Frequently Asked Questions
What do you compare my price with?
Hotels: the median nightly rate in our hotel price index for that city (last 30 days). Flights: the median round-trip fare we track from 40 departure cities. If we don't track that city or route, we still read the booking but don't give a verdict.
Do you keep my screenshot or email?
No. It's read once to pull out the booking details and then discarded. If you save the booking to a trip, we keep only those details (what, when, where, price, booking reference), privately, until you delete the trip. Names, emails and card details are never saved.
Can other people see bookings I add to a trip?
No. Shared trip links never include your bookings. Only you see them when you're signed in.
Can I forward the confirmation email instead?
Yes. Sign in and you get a private forwarding address on this page. Forward any flight, hotel or tour confirmation to it: we add it to the trip with matching dates and email you the price check. You can also paste the email text here.
