voyAIage (“we,” “us,” “our”) is an AI-powered travel planning platform available at voyaiage.com. We help travelers plan trips using artificial intelligence, live pricing data, and curated travel tools — all without requiring an account.

Information you provide voluntarily:

• Email address — only if you choose to receive your itinerary by email or subscribe to our newsletter. This is optional.
• Travel preferences — cities, dates, budget, travel style, and group type you enter when generating an itinerary.
• Trip plans — text you paste into the “Check My Trip” tool for AI review.
• Chat messages — conversations with the Trip Companion about your itinerary.
• Packing list email — your email address if you choose to email yourself a packing list.

Information collected automatically:

• IP address — used for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We do not use IP addresses for advertising or sell them to third parties.
• Usage data — pages visited, tools used, affiliate links clicked, collected via Google Analytics 4. This data is aggregated and not linked to your identity.
• Device information — browser type, screen size, and operating system via standard HTTP headers.

Information we do NOT collect:

• We do not require account creation, passwords, or login.
• We do not collect payment information — all bookings happen on third-party platforms (Expedia, VRBO, GetYourGuide).
• We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

• Generate itineraries — your travel preferences are sent to our AI (Anthropic Claude) to create your trip plan.
• Trip Companion chat — your messages and itinerary context are sent to Google Gemini to provide travel advice.
• Check My Trip — your pasted trip plan is sent to Google Gemini for review and feedback.
• Email delivery — if you provide your email, we use Resend to send your itinerary or packing list.
• Newsletter — if you opt in, we send weekly travel content. You can unsubscribe anytime.
• Abuse prevention — IP addresses are used for proof-of-work challenges, rate limiting, and repeat offender detection.
• Analytics — aggregated usage data helps us improve the platform.

We share data with the following services only as necessary to provide our features:

• Anthropic (Claude) — receives travel preferences to generate itineraries. Privacy Policy
• Google (Gemini) — receives chat messages and trip plans for AI responses. Privacy Policy
• Supabase — hosts our database (itineraries, preferences, analytics). Privacy Policy
• Vercel — hosts our website. Privacy Policy
• Resend — delivers emails. Privacy Policy
• Google Analytics 4 — collects aggregated usage data. Privacy Policy
• Pricing data providers — third-party APIs provide hotel and flight pricing estimates (no user data is shared with pricing providers).

Affiliate partners (Expedia/CJ, VRBO/CJ, GetYourGuide, Points.com): When you click an affiliate link, you leave our site and are subject to that partner’s privacy policy. We track clicks for analytics but do not share personal information with affiliates.

• Itineraries — stored indefinitely so shareable links continue to work. You can request deletion by contacting us.
• Chat conversations — stored only in your browser’s session storage. Closing the tab deletes them. We do not store chat history server-side.
• Email addresses — newsletter subscribers are stored until they unsubscribe. Itinerary emails are fire-and-forget (we don’t retain the email after sending).
• IP-based rate limiting data — usage counts reset daily. Repeat offender data is retained for 7 days.
• Analytics data — retained per Google Analytics 4’s default retention period (14 months).

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Request access to your data
• Request deletion of your data
• Unsubscribe from our newsletter (link in every email)
• Opt out of analytics (use your browser’s Do Not Track setting or a browser extension)

voyAIage is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We use proof-of-work challenges, rate limiting, HMAC-signed tokens, and IP-based abuse detection to protect our platform. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database access is restricted to service-role credentials. However, no system is 100% secure — use the platform at your own risk.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
